Happy Monday Dolls & Gents!

I hope you guys are having a great {long} weekend and some exciting plans for the 4th! I’m off tomorrow and will probably just head somewhere to see fireworks {because, duh.}

I’m not really into the whole tradition of wearing blue, red, and white for the 4th, but of course I’m Jamaican so why would I be, right? LOL. I still however love any reason to get dolled up and I think comfort+chic is a great choice for the day/night.

These side slit trousers give me LIFE and I grabbed them as quickly as the color spoke to me! I decided to pair them with a velvet top because I thought the two opposing textures would blend perfectly together. Throw on some flats and there you have it, a not so traditional 4th of July fit’!

Oversized Shirt Dress + Denim Corset

Happy Monday Dolls & Gents!

Ever wondered how you could take a totally laid back/chill/too-lazy-to-get-dressed outfit and turn it into chic/edgy/you-would-never-know-i’m-lazy outfit? Well, you saw it here first!

I’m obsessed with shirt dresses because of how easy they are, but for an extra something, try adding a corset belt {totally trending btw} to not only cinch in your waist to still give your body definition, but also completely transform your look!

So here’s to smashing all our new goals for the week {including figuring out this ultimate lazy girl hack} and surpassing all our past ones. I pray this week brings you happiness, love, peace, and a fab outfit to go along with it!

Floral Dress + Mules

Happy Thursday Dolls & Gents!

The weather here in Miami has been TRASH lately so the last thing I was thinking about was how to pose for the perfect photo. A fun fact (well maybe not so fun fact) about me is that I’ve never liked the rain. I would say I hate it, but I wouldn’t want to rain on anyone’s parade.

Come on, did you really think I wouldn’t try to be my usual corny self?

Aside from all that, I’ve been super busy lately and this week is no exception. I have 4 different friends celebrating birthdays plus my bff was in town yesterday just for one night. Needless to say, I am in need of SLEEP! But there’s a lot more celebrating to do and even more money to spend {the sucky part} lol!

Now, can we just take a moment to take in this dress though?! I have a thing for floral prints and ruffles so the combination of both is giving me major YASS GIRL, YASS vibes! Not to mention it’s from one of my favorite brands of all time.

Gingham + Ruffles

Happy Tuesday Dolls & Gents!

The long holiday weekend is officially over and it’s back to the grind! I spent most of the weekend with family at cookouts and beaches so you already know it was a great weekend!

In case you haven’t noticed, gingham is back and clearly giving everything else a run for it’s money! I’m oddly intrigued by the print and as such, slowly racking up on different pieces to incorporate in my wardrobe. For starters, these PLT pants are so bomb! I love the overall fit and the frill details were too adorable to overlook.

To keep the focus on the pants, I decided to wear this simple yet not-so-simple bodysuit which when paired with single strap heels make for the perfect date night #ootd
