Y’all should know by now that I can’t leave without preaching a little sermon first! Lol. But I had such an amazing time in church this morning and I’m certainly feeling refreshed. My Bishop sure did preach today! But there’s something that really stuck out to me and I’d love for it to help someone the same way it helped me.
There have been many times when people may feel like they are unworthy of God’s love. It’s as if you know that because of the path you’re going down or the things you’ve done, you feel like there’s no way God could forgive you. Because of this, the tendency is to shy away from building your relationship with God. If you ever find yourself in this situation, rest assure that you have it all wrong. In Corinthians 12:9, God reminds us that his grace is sufficient and his power is made perfect in our weakness. If we truly latch on to this scripture, then we will quickly free ourselves from every thought that goes against God’s promise.
If you remember anything I say, please remember this: There is absolutely nothing you can do that God won’t forgive you for. So the time you spend beating yourself up over past failures and downfalls, you have the power to repent and seek God’s face in order to lead a better life. Once you go to God with a sincere heart and a mindset that is ready to be transformed and renewed, God will shower you with his unfailing love and grace.
Can I get an Amen somebody??
As for my outfit, I have been searching high & low for a maxi dress like this. I was so elated when I finally found one that was incredibly comfortable and fit me so well! I love the zebra print and the added detail with the split and the sleeves. The lightness of the material is perfect for the summer heat as well.
